The Roaming Fiddlers

Folk

A five-piece folk outfit known for turning the bonfire field into a barn dance within minutes of taking the stage.

The Roaming Fiddlers formed a decade ago busking outside village fairs, and have since built a reputation for sets that start seated and end with the whole crowd on its feet.

Expect fiddle, bodhrán, and a battered upright bass holding down songs equal parts mournful ballad and reckless jig.

Their Kingsflame sets traditionally close with an audience sing-along passed down from festival to festival.
